I’ll be in touch!

There are a lot of photographs in the gallery that for some reason or another did not make the cut to become a print or have yet to be edited into what I consider a final piece. You are welcome to request one becomes part of the to-do list.

For more complicated orders feel free to leave your phone number if you would prefer that over email and I will do my best to arrange a brief consultation to better interpret your vision before sending an estimate or invoice.

Do you do portraits too?

Sometimes, mostly just for family photo shoots. Landscapes change spontaneously, it’s a totally other thing. Directing folks and setting up locations in advance is not how I tend to create. I have taken a lot of photos of friends and other hikers while out & about, but those are always given freely for the greater good of the community. If you really want, reach out and mention that you at least read the FAQ before asking and still want to inquire anyway and I’ll at least reciprocate by considering your terms.

Can I license an image for my own product/service

&

What do you mean by Limited Edition…

Can’t you just make more prints?

On my honor. There is an agreed upon rule within the fine art community, hereto reinforcing the value of each good sold by encouraging collector appreciation over time for future enjoyment, as surely the limited print of any photograph that appears on a billboard or magazine cover will be worth more. Further, this code exempts each artist from resting on their laurels by requiring them to continue developing in their craft in order to produce novel work.

Thereby each piece I sell is given the same price per size as any other, allowing my most serious collectors to let me know with their purchases which contain the most subjective value, helping me to properly set commercial terms for the sale of them beyond the prints in the online store here or in person under our art festival tent.

There will be no more than 250 editions of any given photo in the sizes of 12 x 18” or 8 x 12” or 6 x 9” at total 100/75/75 of each respectively. Once the last has sold, the only way to acquire one will be through private sale or by requesting a custom piece of the same photograph in a different material or larger scale, which of course will always cost more than any of the limited ones were originally, and whose total will increase commensurate to the value each has provided me.

Do you mind other artists referencing your work for their own physically produced media?

Absolutely, happy to be of service! Just give credit where due, no need to be a stranger. Collaboration makes the world go round, I certainly glean much inspiration from all the other visual artforms while restoring the details of these scenes to how they felt in the moment.

What about to train AI models or incorporating the photographs into digital form?

It really depends.

If you are creating some form of digital work, I am totally open to seeing how you could incorporate my vision with yours. This falls well within commercial rights, just reach out!

For general purpose playing around in your chosen generative black box program, please respect copyright law and do not give away what is not yours to give.

Can I use them for my phone wallpaper?

For real? Can’t stop you lol, do as thou wilt…

just don’t deface the watermark, for the love of all that is holy!

I think I saw your tortoise on the news?
